Drew Pearce Special Event Planning, Artist Coordination As a Contributing Writer for Acoustic Guitar magazine, Drew Pearce has had a chance to be introduced to a wealth of talent that somehow stays below the radar of mainstream. In 2004, he began hosting a monthly house concert series in an effort to give the spotlight to some of his favorite independent musicians who were running low on venues in the Bay Area. Three years later, Bay Area House Concerts has grown into one the most popular music communities in northern California, showcasing well-known names such as Glen Phillips and Peter Case in all-acoustic living room shows. In May of 2007, he joined the team at About Records to help create a grassroots support network that will promote emerging stars such as Larkin Gayl, Tim Hockenberry, Heather Combs, Rick Hardin and more. |
